Creating wonderful and safe homes for the next stages in life.

Re:model works with clients to adapt their parent’s homes around specific needs and interests - putting everything in place for healthier ageing.

Why is this important? Because a third of all households in England are headed by someone aged 65+. Yet poor quality, un-adapted, hazardous, poorly heated and poorly insulated accommodation can lead to older people having reduced mobility, chronic and acute illness, falls, social isolation, loneliness and depression. Also, with many more larger homes now occupied by people over the age of 65 than previous generations less are becoming ‘available’ for younger generations. Selling and ‘right-sizing’ or redeveloping these properties helps to stimulate the market and can unlock housing chains for the wider housing market. (Source: AgeUK ‘Later life in UK’, 2019)

How might my parents create a legacy with their home?

Re:develop

Bringing homes back to their former glory and fit for the future, or sub-dividing and unlocking a source of new homes.

The Annex has been designed for us to be future fit - wide corridors, wet rooms, lots of natural light, sustainable heating, family on the doorstep and so much more. We’ve finally got rid of all the issues of lack of light, damp, leaks, hazards in our previous house - we absolutely love our new lifestyle !”
