The art of selling

Showing people the true value of your home is an art that is often overlooked. It takes effort but this effort will be rewarded by achieving a higher price and a quicker sale (and in our experience often to a nicer buyer who appreciates things done well). Focus efforts on the rooms that have the biggest potential to influence the buyer’s decision - often the living room, master bedroom and kitchen. De-personalise so others can visualise the space as their own. Create style and charm but devoid of personal touches that suggests the home belongs to you and not the buyer. Get rid of clutter! - clutter takes up space and space is whet sells. Edit everything down to the basics and clean like you’ve never cleaned before! Patch and repair but do it to a standard you’d expect from others - go neutral and focus on fresh. See what we did with 94 Mays Lane with less than £5k of materials - raising the achieved sale price by £82,500. Just imagine what we could be done with an extra £82,500 for the build of a Forever Home. Oh, and don’t forget one key thing - work as a team with the estate agent - be their best client and buy them a bottle to say thanks!
